My interest in woodwork led me to complete a City & Guilds in wooden boat and yachtbuilding at IBTC, Lowestoft, Suffolk, UK in 1995. Together with my husband, Rui Ferreira, I worked in traditional wooden boat construction and restoration for 18 years. Currently, my role in our boatbuilding and furniture making business is in management and decision making.
